Job description
As a Quant Analytics Manager, within the Deposit Pricing and Analytics Team, you will be responsible for deposit-based strategic analytics to help inform pricing strategy. You will also be responsible for end-to-end analytics that answer challenging, open-ended questions that drive product decisions and inform on deposit trends., * Own complex, strategic analytics to determine impacts of potential pricing actions with a specific focus on CDs and elasticity testing
- Become a firmwide expert on money movement data, using it to gauge the impact of yield-seeking behavior and macroeconomic trends on deposit balances
- Translate analytical results into clear, compelling visual narratives and present regularly to senior leadership
- Closely partner with pricing strategy leads as well as finance, branch network, marketing, risk, and product partners
- Develop interactive, automated dashboards that allow partners to quickly self-serve data
- Stay informed of competitors' changes to deposit products and pricing structures as well as broader economic trends that impact pricing strategy
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all analytics and reporting
Requirements
- 5+ years in data and analytics, pricing, treasury, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience with SQL and at least one analytic tool such as SAS, Python, or Alteryx
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field
- Proven ability to query large-scale datasets to solve highly complex problems
- Demonstrate confidence and passion for using data and analytics
- Advanced knowledge of data visualization techniques
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- A background in financial services, consumer banking, or a related industry
- Mastery of Tableau or similar analytics platforms with experience in creating automated solutions
