Developer

This role focuses on supporting technology decisions, improving developer productivity, and accelerating solution delivery. The position is primarily hands-on development, with some involvement in architecture., * Develop scalable, flexible, and resilient applications in collaboration with product teams

• Support application re-architecture for serverless and containerized environments
• Perform hands-on coding, debugging, and code reviews
• Ensure code quality, security, accessibility (508), and compliance standards
• Collaborate with development and business teams to understand system design
• Develop and maintain application templates and enhancements
• Perform unit testing, code analysis, and participate in review sessions
• Conduct gap analysis and impact assessment
• Support POCs, new initiatives, and technical documentation
• Communicate technical issues, root cause, and solutions effectively
• Follow all policies including HIPAA compliance

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
• Experience troubleshooting custom and standard applications

Technical Requirements (Must-Have)

• Strong experience with Progress ABL (OpenEdge)
• Hands-on coding with JavaScript and Bash
• Experience with Progress Development Studio and OpenEdge Application Server
• Experience with code reviews, debugging, and application enhancements

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare domain experience (mandatory); pharmacy experience is a plus
• Experience with COTS tools (Salesforce, Pega, MuleSoft, Oracle EBS, Cognos, etc.)
• Experience with SSO and IAM integrations
• Knowledge of application security and vulnerability management
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Oracle Cloud, IBM Cloud)
• Familiarity with Jira and Bitbucket
• Strong communication, collaboration, and multitasking skills
