Staff UI/UX Product Designer

• Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points through methods such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to visualize design concepts and iterate based on feedback
• Design user interfaces that are visually appealing, intuitive, and consistent with established brand and design standards
• Ensure designs are responsive and accessible across a variety of devices and platforms
• Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, analysts, quality assurance testers, and stakeholders to align design solutions with user needs and business goals
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings and provide input on design-related decisions
• Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to validate design concepts and identify areas for improvement
• Analyze test results and refine designs based on user feedback
• Contribute to and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI pattern libraries to promote consistency across products
• Stay current with emerging design trends, tools, and technologies and seek opportunities to improve user experience and design processes

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 4 years of related professional experience, or Associate degree and 6 years of related professional experience, or High School Diploma/GED and 8 years of related professional experience
• 3 to 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in a technology product environment
• Proficiency with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
• Excellent visual design skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about design challenges
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile technology team and take ownership of tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience contributing to design systems, style guides, or pattern libraries
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing
• Experience creating responsive and accessible user interfaces across multiple devices
