SPA has an immediate or near term need for an Integrated Army and Missile Defense (IAMD) Integration / Verification Analyst to join our team and work as a member of the PEO-MS Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office System Engineering (System Engineering) Directorate analysis team to verify system requirements in support of Army AMD missions. Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of related work experience, or a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 0-2 years of related work experience
- Candidate must be able to secure a SECRET security clearance within 3 months of hire
- Must be a strong programmer and must demonstrate proficiency with at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, MatLab, C/C++, Java). Candidate must be fluent in Microsoft Office tools and should be familiar with Linux OS systems
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Travel (>10% TDY) be required in support of on-site analysis activities of live and HWIL testing, * Basic understanding of radar systems or radar signal processing fundamentals
- Have direct experience with AMD systems, with specific system engineering knowledge and experience with one (1) or more of the following systems: IBCS, PATRIOT, THAAD, C2BMC, FAAD, AEGIS, Sentinel, or equivalent
- Have experience in requirements development, testing, analysis, or verification of two (2) or more of the following AMD areas: track management, threat evaluation, engagement
