Job description

  • Designing and implementing embedded software for manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging hardware and software issues on production lines.
  • Developing and testing firmware for industrial control systems.
  • Collaborating with mechanical and electrical engineers on system integration.
  • Optimizing existing embedded systems for performance and reliability in a manufacturing environment.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation for embedded systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in embedded software development for manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming for microcontrollers and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherCAT, PROFINET).
  • Familiarity with hardware-software integration, debugging, and testing of embedded systems.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to translate requirements into embedded solutions., * Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) beyond basic microcontroller environments.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).
  • Demonstrated ability to debug complex hardware/software interactions using tools like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
  • Knowledge of functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 61508) and their application in embedded systems.
