Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Azure SQL Database and other cloud-based database technologies. The Database Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's database systems, ensuring high performance, security, and availability. Role:

  • Manage and maintain the organization's

and other cloud-based database technologies * Develop and implement database backup and recovery strategies

  • Monitor database performance and proactively tune the database as needed
  • Ensure database security and compliance with industry standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure that database design and implementation meet application requirements
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator, with a focus on cloud-based database technologies
  • Experience with Azure SQL Database and other cloud-based database technologies
  • Strong knowledge of database design and implementation
  • Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies
  • Understanding of database security and compliance
