Job description
- Administer and maintain all IT systems, servers, and network infrastructure across manufacturing facilities.
- Implement, configure, and troubleshoot industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) applications.
- Ensure the security and integrity of IT and OT systems through regular patching, backups, and access control management.
- Provide technical support and resolution for hardware, software, and network issues for manufacturing personnel.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to deploy and support new technologies and automation solutions.
- Monitor system performance and capacity, recommending and implementing improvements to optimize uptime and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in IT systems administration, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs) and network hardware.
- Experience with industrial control systems (ICS) or operational technology (OT) environments is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues efficiently.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with SCADA or MES systems.
- Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for operational technology (OT) environments.
- Experience with virtualization technologies in a production setting.
