The Managed Services Workday Financials Senior Manager will serve as a client-facing Financials solution architect in a post-production environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality managed services for our Workday Cloud clients. This role requires hands-on, cross-functional support across Workday Financial Management, including Budgets (spend authorizations, commitment accounting, and budget vs. actuals reporting), Grants, Procurement, Banking, Expenses, Customers, Suppliers, and Core Accounting. The Senior Manager will partner closely with client stakeholders to address complex financial needs, provide strategic guidance, and ensure operational stability and continuous improvement within Workday Financials. The ideal candidate brings deep functional expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and executive presence to confidently engage with finance leadership and drive exceptional client service outcomes.
Requirements
- 6+ years of proven success delivering and supporting Workday Financial Management solutions in a post-production (AMS/PPS) or post implementation environment.
- 6+ years of experience analyzing business and financial requirements, documenting functional specifications, leading testing efforts, troubleshooting complex issues, and partnering directly with business and finance stakeholders
- Deep hands-on experience supporting cross-functional Workday Financials, including:
- Budgets (spend authorizations, commitment accounting, budget vs. actuals reporting)
- Procurement, Suppliers, Customers, Expenses, Banking, Grants, and Core Accounting
- Demonstrated ability to act as a client-facing Financials solution architect, providing strategic guidance while remaining hands-on with configuration and issue resolution
- Strong executive presence with experience engaging finance leadership and senior stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience, as required by Huron
- No travel required, unless requested by the client, * Holds an active Workday Financials Certification (Core Financials, Grants, Procurement, or related Financials modules preferred)
- Experience with medium to large-scale Workday Financials AMS or post-production support engagements
- Prior experience supporting Tier 2 / Tier 3 client support models, including issue prioritization, root-cause analysis, and service-level management
- Strong understanding of end-to-end financial processes, including procure-to-pay, record-to-report, order-to-cash, and grants lifecycle
- Prior AMS or Production Support Services (PPS) experience is strongly preferred
- Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional Financials support teams across modules
- Prior people management experience, including mentoring, delegating work, reviewing deliverables, coaching team members, and supporting career development
The estimated base salary range for this job is $160,000 - $180,000 (USD). The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron's pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $192,000 - $216,000 (USD). The job is also eligible to participate in Huron's benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
