Job description

We're looking for a data-driven problem solver who can help us build the analytical engine that powers our business. As our Business Intelligence Developer/Analyst, you'll be instrumental in creating a data-driven approach to running our staffing and API businesses.

You'll be building and expanding our existing data foundation, turning raw business processes into instrumented, measurable systems that tell us what's working and what's not. You'll work closely with operations teams and senior leadership to ensure our analytics infrastructure serves real business needs.

What You'll Do

Build and Expand the Data Infrastructure

  • Design and implement data pipelines that capture critical business metrics across our staffing and API operations
  • Enhance and scale our existing data architectures as the business grows

Turn Data into Stories

  • Analyze complex datasets to uncover insights that drive business strategy
  • Build compelling visualizations and reports that translate numbers into narratives that stakeholders can act on

Drive Business Impact

  • Partner with operations and senior leadership to identify key metrics that predict success
  • Move fast to answer urgent business questions with data-driven recommendations, Your work will directly influence company strategy and performance. No bureaucracy, no endless approval chains-just smart people solving interesting problems.

Build and Expand Our Analytics Capabilities

We have working prototypes in place. You'll take what exists, enhance it, and build it into a robust analytical foundation for a growing company. You'll establish best practices, choose the right tools, and scale our data infrastructure.

Solve Interesting Problems

What metrics actually matter in staffing? How do you optimize API usage and pricing? These aren't theoretical questions-they're what you'll tackle daily alongside operations and leadership teams.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience building data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Proficiency with SQL and at least one programming language (Python, R, or similar)
  • Experience with modern data stack tools (Dagster, Snowflake, dbt) and BI/visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar)
  • Demonstrated ability to instrument business processes and define meaningful KPIs
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with ambiguity-you thrive when building and expanding systems
  • Ability to move quickly without sacrificing quality in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Excellent communication skills; you can explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in staffing, recruiting, or API/SaaS businesses
  • Background in statistics or data science
  • Previous startup or high-growth company experience
  • Experience of using analytics to drive measurable business outcomes
