Founding ML Engineer

• Design and implement machine learning models to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
• Develop backend systems using TypeScript and Python to support scalable applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning features into existing platforms.
• Optimize database queries and data storage solutions using MongoDB and vector databases.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS to ensure high availability and performance.
• Conduct experiments and iterate on models based on performance metrics and user feedback.

• 2+ years of experience in machine learning, data engineering, or backend engineering roles.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Python, with a strong understanding of backend development principles.
• Experience with modern web frameworks, particularly Next.js.
• Familiarity with cloud services, especially AWS, for application deployment and management.
• Knowledge of database technologies, including MongoDB and vector databases.

Preferred

• Experience working in AI or media industries, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities.
• Familiarity with data pipeline architectures and ETL processes.
• Previous involvement in startup environments, demonstrating adaptability and initiative.

The base salary for this role ranges from $170K to $220K, complemented by equity options between 0.5% and 2%. This company offers a competitive package designed to attract top talent in the AI and media sectors.
