Server Engineer VMWare VCF-9 Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Server Engineer with deep expertise in VRealize Automation and VRealize Operations. This role is responsible for documenting, designing, deploying server environments to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security. The position also involves creating technical documentation and delivering training to internal teams. Description/Comment: Environment Assessment & Optimization:

• Conduct initial assessment Server Infrastructure and VMware environments to identify configuration gaps, performance issues, and opportunities for improvement.

Documentation:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including topology diagrams, configuration guides, all connectivity areas and operational procedures.
• Ensure all documentation aligns with compliance and operational standards including password security.

Training & Knowledge Sharing:

• Organize and deliver cross-training workshops and knowledge transfer sessions for team members on key areas as directed.
• Create training materials and facilitate sessions

Technical Support & Collaboration:

• Provide Tier 3 support for server-related incidents and escalations.
• Work closely with network, engineering, and application teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Participate in capacity planning and disaster recovery exercises.

• Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere 8.x, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, and VDS.
• Demonstrated Experience with VRealize Automation and VRealize Operations, * 5+ years of experience in server engineering or systems administration.
• VRealize Automation and VRealize Operations implementation and support
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with enterprise documentation tools and training delivery.
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Ansible).

• VMware VCP-DCV
