Job description
TheConstructionManageris responsible for the practical management and planning of every stage of aconstructionproject. They ensure building projects are completed safely, within budget, and on time. As aConstructionManager, youll oversee schedules of work and delegate tasks to your team to ensure each phase of a build goes to plan. Pay Scale: 85,000-105,000 (salary), Coordinate and superviseconstructionprojects from start to finishInterpret and explain project plans and technical information to other project professionalsLead project kickoffs and debriefsCollaborate with PMs, architects, engineers, and otherconstructionspecialistsMonitor project progress and report updates and budget matters to the PMRespond to work delays, emergencies, and other jobsite issuesEnsure compliance with building codes and customer specificationsCoordinate project activities to meet deadlinesAssign duties and responsibilities to project personnel SCHEDULING Schedule crews and manage related scheduling responsibilitiesSelect subcontractors/internal teams and coordinate their activities PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT Track and submit OJT (on-the-job training) signaturesConduct field sign-offsManage and facilitate training daysIdentify training needs, implement solutions, and evaluate effectivenessPartner with HR to support employee engagementBuild relationships with field employees to support career path growth
Requirements
5+ years of construction experience (telecom or wireless industry preferred)Proven leadership experience managing crews and subcontractorsStrong understanding of construction methods, safety protocols, and project schedulingAbility to read blueprints and construction documentsExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsMust possess a valid drivers license and maintain an acceptable driving record, as determined by company policy. This role requires regular driving; a company vehicle may be providedOSHA 30 certificationFirst Aid/CPRProficiency in Procore, Site Tracker, or other construction management toolsCM responsible for plan of attack for construction crew. Create plan of attack or sign off on Foreman supplied plan of attack.Experience in managing internal crews
