Job description

Seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer specializing in network systems to support mission-critical projects in a secure environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures, and must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph., * Design, deploy, and optimize secure network architectures for enterprise and classified environments.

  • Lead system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and protocols (DISA STIGs, RMF).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-availability solutions.
  • Automate system administration tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
  • Manage Active Directory, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), and network monitoring tools.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience or specialist certifications considered in lieu of degree.
  • 8+ years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on network systems.
  • Expertise in Windows/Linux server administration, virtualization, and network security.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, VMware, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community environments.
  • Strong background in system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
