Job description
The role supports the monitoring and protection of both online and onpremises systems, helping identify and mitigate security risks before incidents occur. Why This Role Is Open This is a new role created following recent internal team changes. Due to internal promotions and restructuring, the organization is adding a juniorlevel Security Analyst to support daytoday security operations., * Monitor security systems and network activity for suspicious behavior
- Assist with identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security risks
- Support responses to security alerts, incidents, and potential breaches
- Help implement, maintain, and update security policies, controls, and tools
- Ensure security systems and software (e.g., firewalls, encryption tools) are up to date
- Monitor system access and maintain security logs and related data
- Conduct vulnerability testing, risk assessments, and internal/external security audits
- Assist with penetration testing of networks, systems, and webbased applications
- Analyze security incidents to determine root causes and support updates to incident response and disaster recovery plans
- Coordinate security efforts with thirdparty vendors as needed
- Assist with developing security procedures and training employees on security awareness
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the security function
Requirements

Junior or entrylevel information security experience

Minimum experience requirements:

2+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, OR

4+ years of relevant experience without a Bachelor's degree, * Ability to work effectively in a highstress environment

Strong verbal and written communication skills

$25.00 - $30.00 / hr life insurance, sick time, 401(k), retirement plan United States, Oklahoma, Norman Apr 21, 2026 This is a contract to hire position that will work on W2 with TEKsystems. 40-hour work weeks for 6 months and after good performance the client is wanting to convert this contractor as an FTE.
