Job description

  • Design, develop, and deploy highly scalable and resilient cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services.
  • Build robust and efficient software solutions using Java and the Akka toolkit for concurrent and distributed systems.
  • Implement and manage distributed computing architectures to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Contribute to the development of Agentic AI Workflows, enhancing intelligent system capabilities.
  • Work with NoSQL databases, optimizing data storage and retrieval for diverse applications.
  • Champion Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to ensure code quality, maintainability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and functionalities.

Requirements

  • Extensive hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Proficiency in Java development.
  • Demonstrated experience with Akka for building concurrent and distributed applications.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with Distributed Computing principles.
  • Experience in developing and implementing Agentic AI Workflows.
  • Solid background in NoSQL database technologies.
  • A commitment to Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship.
  • This is a W2-only, hourly role; C2C applicants will not be considered.

Bonus Points (Nice-to-Have Qualifications)

  • Experience with Redis.
  • AWS certification.

Benefits & conditions

NOTE: The target hiring compensation range for this role is $53.13 to $56.13 per hour, W2 ONLY. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
