Job description
CGI Federal is seeking a Sr. Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support a large federal government initiative. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, agile environment where your leadership and expertise will directly impact security posture and operational efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement advanced security controls, lead audits, and drive strategic risk management across hybrid cloud environments., Lead the design and implementation of security controls for on-premises, public, private, and hybrid cloud environments. Oversee the preparation of documentation packages for regulatory submissions and internal/external audits. Act as a senior liaison for regulatory agency interactions and compliance matters. Conduct advanced information security maturity assessments and guide clients in developing strategic security roadmaps. Identify, quantify, and mitigate business risks through comprehensive compliance strategies. Author and maintain technical documentation to support enterprise-level security initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering. Minimum of 8+ years of relevant professional IT experience Active Top Secret Clearance (TS/SCI). Advanced certifications preferred: o CASP+ CE o CCNP Security o CISA o CISSP o GCED o GCIH o CCSP
Technical proficiency in: o Git source version control o Azure DevOps o Static Application Security Testing (SAST) tools (e.g., SonarQube, GitLab SAST) o Unit and integration testing (e.g., xUnit, NUnit) o Automated and end-to-end testing (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber)
