Expert Software Architect

The agency is seeking an Expert Software Architect to analyze, develop, and test all aspects of the systems transformation initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for high-level design choices, dictating technical standards (tools, platforms, and coding standards), and designing multi-leveled architecture for large-scale software systems., * Development of detailed unit test and system test plans to ensure system adherence with web service design and .NET development.

• Extensive analysis of existing processes and documentation of business rules and functional specifications.
• System analysis and design, including the design of forms and creation of business logic components and methods.
• Definition of XML schemas for transaction processing and transaction logging.
• Development of XSLT style sheets for the transformation of data to various formats.
• Implementation of function and role-based access level security.
• Project planning and documentation relative to business rules, including remediating bugs or problems found in testing.
• Creation of comprehensive help documents for users as a reference and training guide.
• Development of post-production support plans and user acceptance processes.

1. Project Management: 60 months experience as a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
2. System Analysis: 84 months experience in system design and analysis.
3. VB.NET: 84 months experience coding in VB.NET.
4. SQL Server: 84 months experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
5. Power Builder: 60 months experience coding in Power Builder.
6. XML: 60 months experience using XML.
7. XSLT: 60 months experience designing and using XSLT styles.
8. Source Control: 48 months experience using source control.
9. Web Services: 72 months experience creating and consuming web services.
10. Message Queuing: 12 months experience using message queuing products such as MSMQ and IBM MQ.
