Job description
A State Agency is seeking a Power BI Developer to support enterprise modernization initiatives by leading the migration of legacy SSRS and SSIS reporting solutions to Power BI. This will be a hybrid role which will require someone onsite in Middletown on Mondays and Wednesdays. This role will work closely with internal application development teams and business stakeholders to redesign, develop, and deliver modern dashboards and reports that support newly built, in-house applications. The Power BI Developer will be responsible for data modeling, reporting architecture, integration with SQL Server data sources, and supporting ETL processes, ensuring accurate, performant, and scalable analytics solutions that align with the agency's long-term modernization strategy.
Requirements
5+ years of experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI Strong SQL Server skills, including complex queries, views, and data modeling Experience migrating or modernizing reports from SSRS to Power BI Working knowledge of SSIS and ETL/data integration processes Experience collaborating with application development teams in an in-house software development environment
