Job description
Responsible for the design, development, and integration of mechanical, electrical, electronic systems and aerospace components, supporting the full product lifecycle from concept through manufacturing and assembly. The role involves 3D CAD design, simulation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure product performance, manufacturability, assembly, and compliance with aerospace standards. As responsible of the integration of the systems from components to manufacturing, the candidate will be in charge as well on designing all testing requirements for the components and final product. Responsibilities:
- Develop 2D/3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings for aerospace components (e.g., using SolidWorks/CATIA).
- Design and integrate mechanical systems, assemblies, jigs, and fixtures for manufacturing processes.
- Perform simulation, analysis, and validation to ensure performance, quality, and compliance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (design, production, quality) for system integration and product development.
- Ensure design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM-DFA) and support process planning for machining and assembly.
- Prepare engineering documentation (drawings, BOMs, process sheets) and maintain design records.
- Support new product introduction (NPI), testing, and troubleshooting of integrated systems.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace standards (e.g., GD&T, AS9100, ISO 9001 OEM requirements).
