Job description
This role supports the technology infrastructure that enables secure data storage, processing, and communication across the organization. The position focuses on maintaining network performance, troubleshooting issues, and supporting overall system reliability.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys leveraging technology to improve operations and support business decision-making., * Monitor and maintain local and wide area network infrastructure, including hubs, modems, switches, routers, and network appliances.
- Utilize network monitoring tools to ensure optimal network health, performance, and uptime.
- Maintain network connectivity technologies, including broadband and other communication systems.
- Support and maintain enterprise wiring infrastructure, including fiber, structured cabling, wireless networks, and equipment racks.
- Manage and maintain virtual private network (VPN) connectivity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related service issues and outages in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation.
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external technology vendors to support system integrations and enhancements.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and solutions to improve network performance and reliability.
- Manage internal network services projects, ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Proactively identify potential issues and implement solutions to prevent service disruptions.
- Provide technical support for network devices and infrastructure, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.
- Conduct risk assessments prior to implementing changes to systems or infrastructure.
- Ensure all activities align with internal policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support IT and network operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field required.
- Minimum of three years of experience supporting network infrastructure and technologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and organizational levels.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
