Job description

As a Software Engineer at Betenbough, you'll help design and build the technology that connects our teams, streamlines our processes, and supports the experience we deliver to every homebuyer. Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT-related field, or equivalent experience

  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming using one or more of the following: C#, VB.NET, Java, or C

  • Fluency in at least one of the following: C#, Java, or JavaScript

  • Knowledge of team software development lifecycle and release processes

  • Strong desire to learn new software development skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and customers

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly

  • Ability to document, verbalize, and organize ideas clearly, Experience or familiarity with:

  • .NET Core

  • .NET MVC

  • .NET Web API

  • LINQ

  • xUnit

  • SQL Server

  • Azure Services Work environment

  • Office-based role in a temperature-controlled environment

  • Requires vision for near, mid-range, and far distances, as well as hearing for low, medium, and high pitch

  • Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, and reaching above head and below waist

  • Must have a current and valid driver's license and be insurable by company fleet insurance

  • Ability to lift 20-75 pounds
