Job description

Be a part of an agile team to provide the U.S Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) OCIO/G-6 with agile, innovative, customer focused, and cost-effective integrated enterprise IT support services in support of the USACE vision of engineering solutions for the Nation's toughest challenges., * Providing Mobile Device Management (MDM) and securing mobile devices within the CASTLE-NET program while ensuring consistent configuration with enterprise architecture standards.

  • Providing end-user support, configuration, upgrades, problem resolution, and security remediation for phones and tablets.
  • Ensuring system security, performance, and availability, while maintaining comprehensive documentation of system configurations and procedures.
  • Applying expertise on multiple complex work assignments, utilizing originality and innovation to develop methodology and present solutions to technical problems.
  • Working with all stakeholders to ensure complete and functioning systems that meet all requirements and exceed the expectations of USACE end-users.
  • Delivering vital solutions and strengthening the IT foundation with secure, innovative, and modernized technological solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in IT, Computer Science, or a related field with 4-7 years of experience in mobile device management.
  • Strong understanding of MDM principles and hands-on experience with enterprise tools such as Microsoft Intune or VMware Workspace ONE.
  • Proficient in developing MDM documentation and implementing data security best practices to optimize security, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Experienced in conducting audits, integrating email services, and managing software deployment via MDM solutions.
  • Must hold and maintain a DoD 8140 IAT Level II compliant certification (e.g., Security+ CE, SSCP) upon hire.
  • Ability to maintain relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, RHCSA, RHCE, or VMware Certified Professional (VCP)., * Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Mobile Device Security Professional (CMDSP).
  • Familiarity with the USACE IT environment, regulatory requirements, and data security best practices.
  • Self-starter with excellent people skills who can communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive change throughout an organization.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must possess a Secret security clearance prior to starting this position.

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
