Job description
The Deployment Lead is responsible for deploying network and video systems to company standards. The Deployment Lead has a solid background operating in the field. With proven leadership skills and extensive experience this position is depended on to direct the work of others and make quick decisions. Deployment Leads must be well organized and favor safety above everything else., Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
- Travel to assigned sites as needed to perform outside plant work, low-voltage cabling installations, electronics installation, and startup/commissioning.
- Meet project milestone schedules on each construction site.
- Read, understand, reference, and utilize project construction plans and documents provided by architects, consultants, and Pavlov Media.
- Interface directly with Project Management to provide detailed site progress updates.
- Ensure build quality aligns with Pavlov Media standards.
- Pull and terminate low-voltage wiring for data, phone, and video networks.
- Test cable, network, and video systems to identify and resolve issues.
- Install support structures (ladders, racks, J-hooks), structured wiring panels, fiber optic cable, and wireless access points.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proficiency in low-voltage cabling (LVC) and electronics installation.
- Professional communication skills, demeanor, and appearance.
- Strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt easily to changes in processes, procedures, and priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Minimum of four (4) years of successful experience in data and/or video deployment, LVC, fiber installations, and/or construction management.
- Willingness to travel 80% of the time.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must pass a drug test.
Physical Requirements: The successful candidate will be able to perform the following with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
