Job description
As a Principal Database Administrator, you will provide technical vision and support over critical projects as part of our strategy to expand our database service offerings. You will be part of a broader team that maintains our overall technical strategy and integrated roadmap.
Requirements
- 10+ plus years performing Oracle 19c and 12g administration (SQL Server a plus)
- Expertise in Performance tuning, scripting and automation
- Expertise in Golden Gate replication on Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)
- Working hands-on knowledge/support of Postgres, Yugabyte, Aerospike, SQL MI, Snowflake a plus
- Significant background in solving complex technology challenges
- A strong background working in large-scale software projects
- Knowledge and expertise in cloud, hybrid cloud technology would be a real plus, * Expertise analyzing, troubleshooting and performance tuning databases and SQL queries
- Expertise with Oracle Golden Gate, database replication and data movement strategies & tools
- Performing design evaluations/ recommendations for database migration strategies to the cloud
- Advanced communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to operationalize solutions and ideas into standard operating procedures (SOP)
