Job description
Assembles, wires, and tests electromechanical sonar systems and related assemblies using engineering documentation and electronic test equipment., * Set up and operate production equipment, machinery, and assembly tools according to process documentation.
- Use electronic test equipment to verify system functionality and electrical performance.
- Support system-level testing activities, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Sea Acceptance Testing (SAT).
- Collect, analyze, and report production and assembly data during manufacturing processes.
- Perform rework, disassembly, troubleshooting, and retesting when required.
- Package, label, and document completed assemblies according to production requirements.
- Maintain compliance with established assembly procedures, Lean manufacturing practices, and production work instructions.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Wiring and circuitry work?, * Minimum 5 years of experience in electromechanical assembly and testing.
- Experience assembling electromechanical systems and subassemblies using engineering documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering prints, electrical schematics, assembly drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs).
- Experience performing electrical wiring and electro-mechanical assembly.
- Experience using electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, function generators, and power supplies.
- Experience assembling interconnect cabling and transducer subassemblies.
- Experience working with production documentation such as method sheets, diagrams, and work instructions.
- Experience collecting and reporting production process data using basic mathematical or statistical analysis.
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office or manufacturing systems such as MRP.

- Experience working with sonar systems, underwater electronics, or acoustic sensing equipment.
- Experience performing soldering for cable assemblies and electronic components.
- Experience performing encapsulation of electronic or transducer assemblies.
- Experience supporting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Sea Acceptance Testing (SAT).
- Experience interpreting Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), piping isometrics, fabrication drawings, and general arrangement drawings.
- Prior experience working within defense, marine electronics, or advanced instrumentation manufacturing environments.
- Assemble electromechanical sonar systems and related subassemblies based on engineering drawings and product documentation.
- Perform electrical wiring, cable assembly, and soldering for system integration.
- Assemble and encapsulate transducer and sensor subassemblies.
- Read and interpret engineering prints, electrical schematics, diagrams, and assembly documentation.
