Job description

You'll support a large-scale enterprise environment (~700 servers) with a strong focus on:

  • Azure and Office 365 administration
  • Day-to-day operational support and troubleshooting
  • Identity, access, and infrastructure management

While this role includes some project work (notably an SSO migration from Okta to Entrust), most of your time will be spent keeping systems running smoothly, resolving issues, and supporting the business.

This is not a purely architectural role, it's ideal for someone who likes being in the environment, solving problems, and making things better every day.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Administer and support Windows/Linux servers across cloud and on-prem

· Handle day-to-day operational workload (~75-80%), including ticket queues and user/system issues

· Perform server patching and vulnerability management (SCCM today, evolving over time)

· Support identity and access management (Active Directory, Entra, conditional access, app registrations)

· Participate in SSO migration (Okta * Entrust) initiatives

· Manage VMware-based infrastructure in a hybrid environment

· Support server provisioning, decommissioning, and system lifecycle tasks

· Troubleshoot across infrastructure, systems, and access issues

· Work within enterprise change control processes

Requirements

Core Experience

· Bachelor''s Degree Req

· 5-8 years of highly technical experience in the field or related area or possess an equivalent combination of education and experience Required

· Strong experience with Azure and Office 365 administration (most important)

· Background in corporate systems administration / infrastructure support

· Experience working in a hybrid environment (cloud + on-prem)

· Familiarity with:

· Windows & Linux servers

· VMware (or similar virtualization)

· Active Directory / Entra ID

· Experience with SCCM or similar patching tools (basic level is fine)

· Ability to troubleshoot across systems, users, and infrastructure

Nice to Have (Preferred, Not Required)

· AWS exposure

· Terraform or automation tools

· SSO / identity migration experience

· Enterprise backup tools (e.g., Rubrik)

Environment & Expectations

  • Enterprise-scale environment (~700 servers)
  • Hybrid infrastructure (Azure + on-prem, with gradual cloud shift)
  • Team of ~4 engineers across cloud and operations
  • Strong emphasis on:
  • Troubleshooting ability
  • Adaptability and teachability
  • Working within structured processes (change control)

What Success Looks Like

· You can step in and handle operational workload quickly

· You're comfortable navigating both cloud and legacy environments

· You bring a practical, solutions-oriented mindset

· You can communicate clearly and work across teams
