Job description

The Technical Specialist will be responsible for providing end user support, troubleshooting operating system issues, and ensuring seamless functioning of desktop and server environments to support Capital Markets operations., Install, troubleshoot, and support operating systems and applications

  • Manage imaging/re-imaging of end-user systems
  • Provide support for mobility devices and MFDs
  • Offer VIP/concierge services and remote support
  • Coordinate with server/network support teams for service enhancements
  • Maintain IT equipment inventory and asset management tools
  • Perform end-user audit/compliance/security controls
  • Provide IT support for disaster recovery and emergency response

Requirements

4-year degree in a related field

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, and group policies
  • Hands-on experience in diagnosing network issues
  • 3-5 years of IT end user trade floor experience
  • Knowledge of market data applications and hardware troubleshooting, Experience with Mobile Device Management platforms
  • Previous experience in a Managed Services Provider
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and learn new skill sets
