Full Stack Developer

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Software Developer to support one of our top asset management clients located in NYC. You will be joining the Operations Technology team. This individual will design, develop, and support data-centric applications and automation solutions that improve operational accuracy, transparency, and timeliness. The role will focus on building and enhancing data pipelines, automating reporting and reconciliations, supporting production systems, and integrating internal and external datasets. This developer will collaborate closely with operations teams and stakeholders, contribute to best practices around code quality and CI/CD, and deliver scalable solutions within an Agile environment.

10+ years of software development experience with strong proficiency in Java or Python -Deep experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase) -Proven background building data automation solutions (pipelines, workflows, reconciliations, reporting) -Strong understanding of object-oriented design and backend/service-oriented development -Experience supporting production systems and troubleshooting data or application issues -Financial services industry experience (Asset Management, Investment Banking, Capital Markets) -Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Knowledge of middle-office/back-office data (positions, transactions, breaks, reconciliations) -Full-stack development exposure, including front-end/UI development -Power BI experience (data models, dashboards, reporting) -Experience with APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development -Cloud exposure (Azure preferred), Linux, or automation/AI tools
