Job description

Help

  • You will resolve complaints and team conflicts, train and assist personnel, and provide guidance relative to Budget Development and Execution.
  • You will organize, plan, schedule, and prioritize the team members' workloads and maintain oversight of work accomplishments.
  • You will be responsible for all aspects of corporate budget development operating within a working capital fund business model (e.g. Stabilized Billing Rates, Service Cost Center Rates, Carryover Management, Overhead budget allocations etc).
  • You will perform budget execution analysis involving comparing actual execution against phased budgets/plans and identifying and reporting variances, projections and mitigation plans.
  • You will monitor and analyze the effectiveness of internal controls, make recommendations to appropriate personnel for any improvements and implements approved changes.
  • You will be responsible for developing complex financial plans to capture fiscal year manpower plans (e.g. Eng Strength, Direct Labor Hours, Overhead cost, revenue, and Net Operating Result).
  • You will be responsible for communicating both orally and in writing, developing Standard Operating Procedures and Desk guides, and conducting briefs and training.
  • You will demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Tools such as Excel, Power Point, Access, and Word.
  • You will conduct purpose, time, and amount reviews required of all funds (OMN, SCN, OPN, RDTE, FMS, and WCF etc.) submitted for procurement requests.
  • You will respond to internal and external funding related data calls.
  • You will serve as the Manager's Internal Control Assessable Unit Manager, monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of internal controls and making recommendations for process improvements.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time., A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.

Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning and scheduling all aspects of corporate budget development within a working capital fund business model., This job does not have an education qualification requirement., PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ).
