Job description
This role is responsible for leading the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals. The Senior Project Manager will oversee planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting for multiple workstreams, managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies. The position requires close collaboration with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, vendors, and executive leadership to ensure transparency and predictable outcomes., * Lead the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives from initiation through closure
- Oversee planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting for multiple workstreams
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, vendors, and executive leadership
- Apply appropriate delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) based on project needs
- Proactively manage risks and issues and ensure governance standards are met
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices and mentor junior team members
Requirements
- Proven experience managing end-to-end delivery of medium to large, complex projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills to drive execution, align cross-functional teams, and maintain accountability
- Demonstrated expertise in project planning, scheduling, dependency management, and milestone tracking
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities, including communicating effectively with senior leadership
- Experience identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and maintaining RAID logs
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira and Bitbucket
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Desired skills:
- Experience managing projects within large enterprise or regulated environments
- Exposure to financial management concepts such as budget forecasting, cost tracking, and change control
- Prior experience working with external vendors, including contract and SLA management
- Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or Confluence
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications
- Experience supporting organizational change initiatives or transformation programs
