Progress Corticon Developer
Requirements:
- We are seeking a skilled Progress Corticon Developer to design, develop, and maintain business rules using the Progress Corticon Studio platform.
- The ideal candidate will work closely with business analysts, architects, and application teams to implement decision automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and accuracy., * Design and implement business rules using Corticon Studio.
- Develop rule flows, rule sheets, vocabularies, and decision services.
- Integrate Corticon decision services with enterprise applications (Java, REST, SOAP APIs).
- Translate business requirements into executable rule logic.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and validation of rule models.
- Deploy and manage decision services in Progress Corticon Server.
- Optimize performance of rule execution.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to refine decision logic.
- Maintain documentation for rule models and deployment workflows.
- Support production issues and enhancements.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Progress Corticon (Studio & Server).
- Understanding of Business Rules Management Systems (BRMS) concepts
- Experience designing decision tables and rule flows.
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP service integration.
- Familiarity with Java or .NET environments.
- Experience with XML / JSON data structures.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills
- Version control tools (Git, SVN, etc.).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with decision automation architectures.
- Exposure to BPM tools or workflow systems.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Cloud deployment exposure (AWS, Azure, or similar).
- Experience integrating Corticon with microservices.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Equivalent practical experience in BRMS development may be considered.
