Azure Cloud Architect

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of a secure, scalable cloud environment that supports application development and modernization initiatives. This role is hands-on and highly collaborative, requiring close coordination with Application Development, Infrastructure, and Digital Technology teams. The architect will assess existing environments, design an optimized hybrid Azure architecture, and implement the solution end-to-end. This engagement is time-sensitive, with a hard goal of project completion by the end of May due to budget constraints.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience working in cloud environments
• Strong expertise with Microsoft Azure
• Hands-on experience with Azure Front Door and Terraform
• Proven history of multiple Azure implementations, including greenfield and migration efforts
• Deep knowledge of Azure security controls, with experience proposing and implementing secure, scalable architectures
• Experience leading prime cloud implementations
• Expertise with Azure ExpressRoute, extending on-prem infrastructure to Azure and optimizing hybrid connectivity

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with Java (21/25) and Spring Framework (Spring 6)
• Experience supporting or enabling modern application development teams
