Job description
Our client is seeking a highly technical Data Analyst to drive advanced analytics and AI-powered solutions within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. This role partners closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to build scalable data products, develop intelligent applications, and translate complex data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate brings a blend of analytics, data engineering, and emerging AI/agent development experience, along with strong business acumen and communication skills.
This role follows a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.
Data Analyst Responsibilities
- Design and deliver end-to-end data solutions, including ingestion, transformation, and visualization to support business decision-making.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and backend systems to enable reliable analytics and reporting.
- Develop AI-powered tools and agent-based applications (e.g., analytical agents, knowledge assistants) to solve business problems.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions and insights.
- Create intuitive dashboards and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Apply business logic to enrich and structure raw data for meaningful analysis.
- Communicate complex technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
- Contribute to software development lifecycle processes, including Agile methodologies and iterative delivery.
Requirements

8+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or a related field.

Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.

Hands-on experience with modern AI/BI tools, including Cursor and Claude, with the ability to build intelligent or agent-based applications.

Experience with backend development and data pipeline architecture.

Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile practices.

Strong problem-solving skills, professionalism, and business acumen.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly insights.

Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
