Director of Infrastructure

We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Director of Network & Infrastructure to serve as a key partner and right hand to the CIO. This individual will play a critical leadership role in shaping and executing enterprise IT infrastructure strategy, driving modernization initiatives, and ensuring a secure, scalable, and high-performing environment across the organization.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in autonomy, can lead major initiatives with minimal oversight, and is comfortable operating at both strategic and technical levels., * Strategic LeadershipPartner directly with the CIO to define and execute IT infrastructure and network strategy

• Lead enterprise-wide initiatives including infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, and data center optimization
• Act as a decision-maker and escalation point for critical infrastructure and network issues
• Infrastructure & Network ManagementOversee design, implementation, and support of network architecture (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, VPN)
• Manage core infrastructure including servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud platforms
• Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of all infrastructure systems
• Operational ExcellenceEstablish and enforce best practices for system reliability, monitoring, and incident response
• Drive continuous improvement in uptime, performance, and service delivery
• Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning efforts
• Security & CompliancePartner with security teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, etc.)
• Implement and maintain secure network architectures and access controls
• Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and grow a high-performing infrastructure and network team
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning
• Manage vendors and third-party service providers
• Project & Initiative OwnershipLead large-scale IT projects from planning through execution (e.g., system upgrades, cloud migrations, network transformations)
• Operate independently to drive CIO-led initiatives forward without constant oversight

• 5-10+ years of progressive IT infrastructure and network experience, including leadership roles
• Proven experience leading enterprise infrastructure environments in complex organizations
• Strong expertise in:
• Network architecture (routing, switching, firewalls, SD-WAN)
• Cloud platforms
• Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Data center operations and modernization
• Demonstrated ability to lead large initiatives independently and influence executive stakeholders
• Experience managing and developing technical teams
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and regulatory compliance (HIPAA preferred)
