Data Engineer (Full-Stack Focus) - Python / Node.js (2 Openings) Remote This is a Remote role., Join our Payment Integrity team as a Data Engineer (Full-Stack Focus) supporting the Special Investigations Unit (SIU). In this role, you will play a key part in compliance-driven, provider-centric initiatives focused on fraud, waste, and abuse detection. Our team structure is aligned by business unit, requiring engineers with a full-stack mindset who can contribute across backend and UI components. You will collaborate closely with UI-focused React engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions that power critical investigative and compliance workflows. • Design, build, and maintain data-driven applications using Python and Node.js
• Develop and support backend services and APIs for SIU and Payment Integrity use cases
• Manage and optimize data pipelines and storage with MongoDB and Oracle databases
• Collaborate with front-end (React) engineers to support UI-integrated application functionality
• Contribute to fraud, waste, and abuse detection systems through scalable engineering solutions
• Partner with cross-functional teams aligned to business units to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Support ongoing enhancements and maintenance of existing applications and data workflows

• Strong experience with Python for data engineering and backend development
• Hands-on experience with Node.js for API and application development
• Proficiency with MongoDB and Oracle databases
• Full-stack mindset with ability to collaborate across backend and UI components (React exposure is a plus)
• Experience building scalable, data-driven applications in a production environment
• Ability to work within business-aligned team structures and support multiple initiatives
• Strong communication skills and ability to start quickly in a fast-moving environment
