Job description

Job Duties: Uline, Inc. seeks a Sr. IT Quality Assurance Analyst in Pleasant Prairie, WI to perform software and IT quality assurance. Initiate, plan, execute, manage, and complete Quality Assurance (QA) activities related to applications and system implementation projects. Perform and coordinate testing efforts for projects and software releases, including integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing. Develop, execute, and maintain test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test suites and cases. Document, analyze, and evaluate test results and defects, track and manage defects. Coordinate and facilitate defect management and triage process. Coordinate test schedules, environments, and configuration requirements for assigned testing activities. Provide testing estimates for resource allocation and timelines. Utilize Postman tool to perform API testing. Write SQL code to test software application values. Build testing frameworks using Agile Scrum methodologies. Establish traceability of requirements through test plans and cases. Identify, define, track, and report QA metrics and KPIs. Coordinate and monitor defect tracking activities and ensure proper utilization by assigned projects. Drive established QA practices and methodology to maintain consistency across projects. Collaborate with QA Manager and QA Team to develop, implement, and improve QA capabilities, approaches, and services. Monitor and communicate QA status to leadership team. Guide teams to adopt and implement applicable testing practices and expectations. Multiple positions open. Annual salary: $125,000 - $125,000.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field plus 6 years of progressive IT quality assurance experience. Must have at least 6 years of experience in each of the following: (1) API testing using Postman; (2) SDLC (software development life cycle); (3) Performing integration, system, functional, regression, and user acceptance testing; (4) Developing, executing, and maintaining test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts; (5) Identifying, defining, tracking, and reporting QA metrics and KPIs; (6) Agile Scrum and Waterfall methodologies; (7) Writing SQL queries to test software application values; and (8) Visual Studio Team Foundation Server (TFS), Azure Dev Ops, and Visual Studio Test Professional.
