Pega Developer

This Software Engineer 3 (Pega Developer) will join an ongoing initiative to implement an underwriting workflow using Pega, including the development of a case management workflow. The role is a hands-on, pure development position focused on coding, integration, testing, and delivery within an enterprise environment. The developer will work on moderately complex engineering initiatives, leverage strong Pega Platform and Constellation knowledge, and collaborate closely with client personnel to deliver compliant, scalable workflow solutions. This is a hybrid contingent role based in Las Colinas, TX. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance underwriting workflows using Pega Platform and Pega Constellation
• Support migration efforts from Pega to Pega SS
• Build and support integration details for reporting
• Perform rollouts, functional testing, and production support activities
• Write, review, and complete code deliverables aligned with project requirements
• Conduct peer code reviews and ensure best development practices
• Analyze and resolve moderately complex technical issues
• Collaborate with technical leads, product partners, and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and risk requirements

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, including participation in moderately complex initiatives and enterprise-scale deliverables.
• Strong Pega development experience (4-6 years) with solid understanding of Pega Platform fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Pega Constellation, including implementing at least a basic Constellation application.
• Experience with React, Java, and SQL Server to support UI, backend logic, and integrations.
• Ability to independently analyze, resolve, and deliver solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.Plusses:
• Experience delivering end-to-end Pega Constellation applications into production environments.
• Advanced UI customization skills or deep DX API knowledge within Pega.
• Exposure to advanced integrations, theming, or performance tuning within Constellation.
• Prior underwriting, workflow automation, or financial services project experience.Job Summary
