Requirements

  • Must be detailed oriented and have sound engineering judgment.

  • Must be self-motivated and a self-starter.

  • Must be able to generate documents like plans, data sheets, and reports.

  • Must have design capabilities to aid test fixture design.

  • Must have the ability to create and analyze CAD drawings.

  • Must be willing to perform tests and some physical work at the test laboratory as needed.

  • Must have a B.S. in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.

  • One year of related experience preferred.

  • Familiarity with FAA regulations and airframe manufacturer's specifications preferred.

  • Experience in stress analysis, finite element analysis methods or MSC NASTRAN is a plus.

  • Must have the ability to create and analyze CAD drawings (CADAM, Pro/E).

  • Must also have a complete knowledge of finite analysis methods, FAR's related to certification of aircraft interiors, and airframe manufacturers specifications.

  • Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment.

  • Ability to read and review written communication.

  • Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English
