As a Software Quality Engineer, you will be a key contributor to ensuring the quality and performance of our software products. Your expertise will be critical in upholding our high standards and delivering reliable solutions to our clients. You will collaborate closely with development and product teams to identify issues, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement in our QA processes. This role offers an opportunity to leverage your skills to make a significant impact on our product offerings and the overall user experience., * Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test cases spanning web UI, APIs, and backend services under the guidance of senior staff.
- Utilize and learn established test frameworks, libraries, and tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium) to execute and update existing test scripts.
- Monitor and execute automated tests within the CI/CD pipeline. Help identify environment readiness issues and assist in managing test data.
- Continuously improve testing accuracy and reliability. Identify and report flaky or non-deterministic tests. Support senior engineers in improving test runtime and reliability.
- Generate and publish test outcomes as standardized test reports (e.g., JUnit-style results, trend views) that provide actionable feedback to the product development team.
- Investigate and triage initial test failures; provide detailed reports to help distinguish between product bugs and environment issues.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers and Product teams to understand requirements and ensure test cases align with user stories.
- Contribute to engineering excellence through the published documentation of test plans, scripts and results.
- Actively participate in team meetings and code reviews to learn and adopt industry best practices for quality assurance.
- Demonstrate a strong desire to learn new testing technologies and contribute to a culture of quality through proactive problem-solving.

Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- 2+ years of experience in performance testing.
- 2+ years of experience building and maintaining automated tests for web applications and distributed systems.
- Experience with end-to-end and API test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress) and test design patterns.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI) using Git-based workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across services, logs, and environments.
- Proven ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning and providing accurate testing estimates.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Familiarity with testing cloud-native and microservices architectures (Docker/Kubernetes) and comfort working in a Linux-based environment.
- Observability: Experience utilizing observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, centralized logging) to improve test diagnostics and triage speed.
- Integration Strategies: Exposure to contract testing, service virtualization, or integration test strategies for distributed systems.
- Reporting: Experience configuring reporting pipelines and quality dashboards (e.g., Allure, JUnit XML) that surface actionable insights for the team.
- Specialized Testing: Participation in performance, load, or resiliency testing to ensure system stability under stress.
- Programming Depth: Practical experience with at least one back-end programming language (e.g., Java or Python).
