Complex energy initiatives deserve leaders who can bring clarity, credibility, and momentum to every moving part. 2KB Energy Services in Dunwoody, GA, is hiring a full-time Technical Program Manager to oversee impactful projects from planning through delivery., This hybrid position follows a 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday schedule, with 5-10% travel depending on project needs.
As you navigate your day, you seamlessly juggle project management and program coordination, ensuring that every detail aligns to meet client expectations. You interact with clients regularly, building strong relationships and keeping them informed, which fosters trust and confidence in your expertise. You dive into technical support and energy analysis, translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that empower clients to advance their sustainability initiatives. Requirements
- Engineering or engineering-related bachelor's degree
- 5+ years managing projects and/or small technical teams in energy efficiency, building performance, or related consulting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Vendor/partner management experience
- Experience with project management software (BQE CORE)
- Experience coordinating multiple concurrent projects
- Experience supervising technical staff
- Commitment to QA/QC ownership for audit deliverables
- Strong written skills
- Comfortable leading meetings and presenting results
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to translate technical findings into plain-language recommendations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical support and energy analysis experience
- Experience in EnergySTAR Portfolio Manager
- Experience in commercial/municipal energy audits, including ASHRAE Level I-II work and ECM development
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Energy Auditor (CEA), ASHRAE BEAP, or equivalent certification
- Familiarity with ASHRAE audit procedures, local codes, and common ECMs for municipal/school/commercial facilities
- Proficiency with utility data analysis and ECM financials (simple payback, SIR, NPV) in Excel or similar tools
