- Design and develop database objects including tables, views, stored procedures, and UDFs in SQL Server
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for high-performance data processing
- Perform query optimization and performance tuning using execution plans, indexing, and best practices
- Develop and maintain data models and database schemas ensuring scalability and efficiency
- Support reporting needs by contributing to Tableau dashboards and reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions
- Participate in Agile development processes and use JIRA for tracking
Requirements
We are seeking a Sr. SQL Server Developer with strong backend development expertise and working knowledge of Tableau reporting. This role is heavily focused on core SQL Server development, including complex query building, performance tuning, and database design.
This is not a DBA or ETL-focused role the ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience writing and optimizing SQL code, along with basic Tableau dashboard/report development exposure., * 7+ years of hands-on MSSQL Server development experience (MANDATORY)
- Strong experience with:
- Tables, Views
- Stored Procedures
- User Defined Functions (UDFs)
- 5+ years of experience in:
- SQL query optimization
- Performance tuning (execution plans, indexing, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience in:
- Data modeling
- Database/schema design (normalization, relationships, etc.)
- Minimum 1+ year of hands-on Tableau experience (dashboard/report development)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills, * Prior experience in Banking/Financial Services domain
