Job description
Join our Software Platforms team as a Software Engineer and become part of a collaborative, supportive, and forward-thinking environment. You'll contribute to a broad software ecosystem that powers CellaVision's products-from system architecture and device-near software to modern frontend, backend, and cloud solutions.
We believe great software is built together. You'll work alongside skilled colleagues across disciplines, in a culture where knowledge-sharing, curiosity, and continuous learning are part of everyday life.
What You'll Do
In this role, you'll be involved throughout the entire software lifecycle-designing, building, and improving scalable, high-quality solutions that make a real difference in healthcare.
You'll collaborate closely with architects, product managers, and fellow engineers, taking ownership of your work while also shaping how we build software together.
The role combines hands-on development with technical ownership and offers opportunities to influence architecture, engineering practices, and ways of working in a growing software organization.
Requirements
We're looking for someone who is curious, thoughtful, and enjoys building things that last. You might recognize yourself in one or more of these areas:
- Frontend development using Angular
- Backend development and data persistence using databases
- Cloud-based development, primarily on Azure and/or AWS
- API design, integration, and distributed systems
- DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (nice to have)
Your Experience
-
Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a similar technical field
-
5-15 years of experience working as a Software Engineer in professional, product-driven environments
-
Strong software engineering fundamentals, including system design, code quality, testing, and maintainability
-
Experience working with complex systems and long-term product roadmaps
-
Ability to take technical ownership and contribute as a member of a collaborative, cross-functional team
Experience from MedTech or regulated industries is a bonus-but not required. Interest in AI tools is also a plus. What matters most is your engineering mindset, your curiosity, and your drive to build high-quality solutions.
