Geospatial Database Administrator (Key Personnel)

Geospatial Database Administrator (Key Personnel), The Geospatial Database Administrator is responsible for the oversight, security, performance, and technical integrity of the ArcGIS Enterprise environment supporting DOE/NNSA. This role serves as the senior technical authority for enterprise GIS architecture, geospatial databases, integrations, and system health monitoring. Key Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and enhance ArcGIS Enterprise in a DOEowned cloud
• Monitor system health, performance, availability, and data integrity
• Manage geospatial databases, including spatial indexing, compression, backup, and recovery
• Integrate ArcGIS Enterprise with DOE/NNSA systems (e.g., OneID, BUILDER, Palantir, SAFER)
• Support ATO, FedRAMP Moderate, vulnerability management, and cyber documentation
• Serve as senior technical escalation point and support training and documentation

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 5 years enterprise GIS experience, including Esri ArcGIS Enterprise
• Advanced expertise in SQL and geospatial data formats
• Experience integrating GIS with enterprise systems and APIs
• Experience supporting secure federal environments (NIST 800171, FedRAMP, ATO)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance (active TS/Q preferred)
