Product Owner

We're seeking a Product Owner to support a healthcare analytics platform focused on improving transparency in hospital capital equipment purchasing.

This is an Agile Product Owner role responsible for backlog management, sprint execution, and stakeholder collaboration. Strong experience in capital spend and equipment purchasing is the top priority, with flexibility on depth of formal product experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog in a Scrum environment
• Write and prioritize user stories; support sprint planning and execution
• Partner with stakeholders (CFOs, capital committees, supply chain) to gather requirements
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable product requirements
• Support features that benchmark pricing, analyze competitiveness, and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure alignment between stakeholders and development teams

• 5+ years of experience (Product Owner, BA, or similar)
• 3+ years in capital spend, equipment purchasing, or capital planning
• Strong understanding of capital procurement workflows (requests, approvals, vendor quotes, negotiations)
• Experience working with senior stakeholders
• Ability to translate business processes into requirements
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum
• Strong analytical and communication skills
