Job description
UX Designer Responsibilities: DAY TO DAY: o Design complex, data-dense interfaces and high-fidelity mockups for real-time equipment dashboards and operator control panels. o Build interactive prototypes to rapidly validate design decisions with both end users and cross-functional engineering partners. o Maintain cross-organizational alignment by collaborating with peer UX teams to ensure a consistent design language across the platform. o Facilitate technical handoffs by providing detailed design specifications, assets, and interaction documentation to software and robotics teams. o Perform design QA during development sprints to ensure the final implementation remains faithful to the approved visual and functional standards.
Requirements
o Expert-level proficiency in Figma or equivalent industry-standard tools for professional prototyping and high-fidelity UI creation. o Proven expertise in user research and usability studies with the ability to synthesize raw findings into actionable design requirements. o Deep familiarity with design systems and the application of component-based design practices at scale. o Strong communication and collaboration to effectively bridge the between design vision and engineering constraints. o Experience managing the full design lifecycle from initial discovery and personas through to final validation and launch. o 5+ years of professional UX design experience with a portfolio that demonstrates a mastery of complex interface design. PLUSSES: o Familiarity with the warehouse, logistics, or robotics domains and their unique operational constraints. o Expertise in the UX design of complex, real-time data workflows and high-frequency alert management. o Technical ability to execute lightweight front-end prototyping using HTML, CSS, or JavaScript. o Previous experience designing for industrial, operational, or SCADA-based Human Machine Interface systems.
