Sr Systems Engineer

This role is responsible for the installation, configuration, and daily maintenance of identity management systems, server operating systems, and server virtualization platforms supporting Oceaneering's global infrastructure operations. The Sr. Technologist II works independently with minimal supervision, handles Tier 3 escalations, and contributes heavily to IT projects across the enterprise. This is a hybrid position requiring in-office presence for meetings., * Administer Azure Portal and M365 ecosystem including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, and OneDrive across a global environment

• Manage Windows Server operating systems and identity infrastructure including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
• Develop and maintain automation and scripting solutions using PowerShell, Ansible, or Orchestrator
• Analyze system log files, handle Tier 3 escalations, and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues
• Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to IT projects including planning, execution, and documentation

• 15+ years of total IT experience (hard requirement)
• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Windows Active Directory
• 10+ years of scripting and automation experience (PowerShell, Ansible, Orchestrator, or equivalent)
• 7+ years of experience using system events, logs, and monitoring tools for troubleshooting and trend analysis
• 7+ years of experience with vSphere or Azure hypervisors in a large, multi-site environment
• 5+ years of experience with data structures including XML, JSON, YAML, and/or WQL
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience
