Security Operations Center Officer

SCIS is searching for a full time Security Center Operator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the management of both security and fire alarm monitoring systems, operating/monitoring communications equipment, logging shift activities, monitoring surveillance monitors and camera systems, processing required reports and making appropriate notifications. They will perform a variety of dispatch and control center functions at assigned site; may be assigned a rank, as defined by client contract.

What You'll Do:

• Monitors a central point alarm monitoring dispatching, dispositioning and archiving security and fire alarms; controlling and directing daily routine activities for security and fire personnel and affect command/control procedures for emergencies.
• Monitors and operates Closed Circuit TV (CCTV), video systems, alarm receiving equipment.
• Logs shift activities, monitors surveillance and intrusion monitors, alarms and camera systems, processing required reports and making appropriate notifications.
• Use communication equipment to include, but not limited to, two-way radio communications, telephone systems, secure phone, satellite phone, paging systems, alarm receiving.
• Maintains all logs, reviewing and writing reports for incidents and emergencies utilizing a Significant Events Log during assigned shift.

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• 1 year of prior of Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience
• Must have or be able to obtain a Arizona Guard Card
• Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
• Must have and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's license

Pay: $31.00 per hour
