Cloud/DevOps Engineer

• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployment pipelines using Gitlab and Terraform
• Generate and review merge requests to ensure quality and adhere to established DevOps/IaC best practices
• Contribute as a proactive member of an agile team focusing on IaC engineering
• Mentor and collaborate within an application development team to embed engineering expertise
• Prepare and execute an effective transition strategy from on-premises to cloud solutions

• Proven experience with Terraform for deploying infrastructure as code
• Deep understanding of Gitlab for pipeline creation and repository management
• Proficiency in BASH scripting for automation tasks
• Competence in IAM and Secrets Management for access control and security
• Expertise in ECS for scalable containerized applications

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with container image building and container orchestration
• Understanding of multi-account governance strategies using Landing Zone
• Knowledge of Gitlab branching strategies for efficient workflow management
• Experience deploying applications across multiple regions with strategies like blue/green deployments
• Insight into FinOps practices for cloud financial management
