Senior Solution Architect - Insurance & AWS

The ideal candidate will have experience leading architecture across multiple workstreams, supporting modernization efforts, and partnering closely with business, engineering, and infrastructure teams., * Review current application, platform, and integration architecture.

• Identify technical gaps, risks, dependencies, and areas of technical debt.
• Create conceptual, logical, and high-level solution architecture.
• Design secure, scalable, and resilient AWS-based solutions.
• Support cloud transformation, modernization, and migration initiatives.
• Guide engineering teams on architecture standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with business, security, infrastructure, and delivery teams.
• Prepare architecture documents, diagrams, and design summaries.
• Present architecture decisions, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Support architecture governance, SAS, and SDF review processes.

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect with strong AWS and insurance domain experience to support large-scale enterprise initiatives. This role will focus on assessing current architecture, identifying gaps and risks, and designing scalable cloud-based solutions aligned with business and technology goals., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

• 10+ years of experience in Solution or Application Architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS architecture and cloud-native design.
• Insurance industry experience is required.
• Experience with P&C, specialty, or cyber insurance is preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and integration architecture.
• Strong understanding of scalability, resiliency, security, and disaster recovery.
• Experience creating architecture artifacts and high-level design documents.
• Ability to work independently and lead architecture discussions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Solutions Architect certification.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments and cloud modernization.
• Familiarity with containerization, Kubernetes, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, and enterprise integration patterns.
