Job description
Our Midwest healthcare client is seeking a Network Project Manager to lead and coordinate critical network infrastructure initiatives across a complex healthcare environment. This individual will be responsible for managing network-related projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables are aligned with organizational goals., * Lead end-to-end delivery of network infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, implementations, and optimization initiatives
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and resource allocation
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including network engineers, infrastructure teams, security teams, vendors, and business stakeholders
- Oversee projects involving LAN/WAN, wireless networks, data centers, cloud connectivity, firewalls, VoIP, and network security initiatives
- Track project milestones and ensure deliverables are completed on time and within scope
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively resolve issues
- Facilitate project status meetings and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate third-party resources as needed
- Ensure compliance with healthcare IT standards, security requirements, and organizational policies
- Support network refreshes, site implementations, system integrations, and infrastructure modernization efforts
Requirements
The ideal candidate has a background managing enterprise network projects, excellent stakeholder communication skills, and experience working in healthcare or other highly regulated environments., * 2 - 5 years of experience as a Project Manager leading network/infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking technologies (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, wireless, VPN, firewalls, cloud networking)
- Experience managing infrastructure upgrades, migrations, or large-scale network deployments
- Experience working with hospital systems, healthcare networks, or regulated environments is a plus
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments)
